Cinch. vs. Sports Engine
Their software isn’t built for the small clubs
The Difference
Sports Engine is a massive company owned by NBC Sports. This means a few different things.
First, to get anything done is going to take a huge amount of time because of the layers of bureaucracy that need to be followed.
Second, none of the small changes that you want to see will get made because they aren’t going to change their product.
Cinch is agile and works with our partners to deliver the greatest product to solve each organizations problems.

No Flexibility
With Sports Engine you get what you get. There is no flexibility in their product and they will not change anything to fit your specific need.
With Cinch, your problems are listened to and discussed and many solutions have been added into the product based on customer recommendations.
Still Have to Print
In order to get your roster information you have to run a registration report, export the report to a spreadsheet, alphabetize it and print it out. You still have to hope that nobody registers in the amount of time that that takes otherwise you have to repeat the process.
Cinch provides LIVE, up to the second, data with no exports needed.
Limited Integration
Sports Engine offers very little as far as integrations goes. Most of their integration involves widgets that can be embedded on your website but no actionable integrations from your registration information.
With Cinch, because of our API driven architecture any integration is possible.
